Facebook giveaway questions
Can I pick a winner from a personal profile post?
No. Facebook only lets apps read comments on Pages you manage, not on personal profiles or groups.
Can people enter more than once?
You choose: one entry per person, or one entry per comment.
Can I draw from likes or shares?
Reaction-based draws are planned. Facebook doesn’t let any app see who shared a post, so we recommend asking entrants to comment.
Is the winner really random?
Yes. DrawPilot picks the winner with a cryptographically secure random generator before the animation starts, and every eligible entry has the same chance. The 25-second marquee is the show — it never decides the result.
Does DrawPilot use the official Facebook API?
Yes. DrawPilot will only use Facebook’s official API with your permission. It never scrapes pages, never asks for your password, and never posts or replies for you.
